About the challenge

The Challenge: For many first-year college students, especially young women, this is the first time managing money, career decisions, and independence all at once.  As the first generation of earners, builders, and digital natives, they're navigating finances without clear guidance while also trying to set themselves up for long-term success.

The Solution Should:

  • Help young women understand, manage, or grow money early (budgeting, earning, investing, negotiating, side hustles, benefits, etc.)
  • Use technology (apps, AI, platforms, games, extensions, or digital experience)
  • Connect financial confidence to career growth, independence, or future goals
  • Feel relevant, empowering, and accessible to Gen-Z women
